The following company routines will practice over fall break. These practices are mandatory for all dancers! We appreciate your prioritizing this time :) Also note that not all dances will be rehearsed over the break.

Solos and duets: We will be in touch with you individually to coordinate the timing. All regularly scheduled lessons are canceled; however, we would like all solos and duets to practice over the break :)

October 27 – November 1

It’s time for one of our favorite traditions — Halloween Costume Week at DDC! 👻

Dancers are invited to wear their favorite Halloween costumes to class all week long! Please make sure costumes are dance-friendly (no masks, props, or accessories that limit movement or visibility).

No costumes will be worn in Ballet Levels A–D. Dancers should wear their regular ballet attire for these classes.

We’ll have festive music, themed classes, and fun surprises throughout the week — plus a few treats for our dancers! Don’t forget to snap a photo in your costume and tag @DedicationDanceCo on social media so we can see your Halloween spirit! ✨

Who should fill this out?

1. Dancers doing solos, duets, and trios who are interested in doing more than the 4 required competitions.

2. Any company member interested in extra conventions. Dancers DO NOT need to do a solo, duet, or trio to participate in extra conventions!

If you are in a duet or trio, ALL dancers must agree on the extra competition(s). Only one form per duet or trio (each student isn't required to fill out a form). Please communicate with your duet/trio partners and have one person fill out a form for your duet/trio.

ALL extra comp/convention requests must be submitted via this form by October 1st. There are no late additions or removals. We will complete your registrations as soon as possible to ensure spots are reserved. 

- DDC instructor attendance is only guaranteed at competitions/conventions within the four required for the company, not extra competitions.

- Dancers competing in the Junior and Mini age divisions will be assigned a Competition Assistant (an older dancer who will help them stretch, warm up, and get them on stage).

- The studio will handle all registration logistics and music uploads.

- Teen and Senior dancers are welcome to bring other DDC dancers to help them warm up and support them backstage. 

- DDC Parents are not allowed to go backstage at any competition.

‭ - No competition assistants (all ages) will be provided at competitions outside of‬‭ the competitions listed below.‬

This form is due on October 1st, and full payment for extra competitions is due per the Competition Calendar found on the Company Homepage! The installment payment plan is not an option for extra competition.

Solos: $195

Duets/Trios: $105 per dancer

BAND 25-26 for Competition Company, dancers are required to have at least one parent representative in BAND. 

Dancers are encouraged to join if they have access.
